2024’s School Education Fair

Commencing during the last week of July, the education fair hosted by our very own
Kuen Cheng High School was a great success indeed. It was held in the school's hall,
Lee Shin Cheng Hall.

During both the scheduled visit times as well as recess hours, students were seen
flocking into the halls excitedly, with inaudibly impatient murmurs filling the air as
they engaged in discussion. Stands with education advisors were lined up, with an

array of glossy brochures donning each one of the tables. While one might only
envision older students in upper secondary attending an education fair, it was
apparent that this education fair was also well received by those from lower
secondary, with Junior 1 classes also touring the fair.

Among the prestigious university stands included ones from the famed Tsing Hua
University, Monash University and King’s College. The variety of options was well-
suited for the varying interests and passions of the students, with stark opposite

courses such as culinary and engineering courses being offered .

Parents were also seen talking with the education advisors, as the advisors walked
them and other interested students through potential educational pathways post-
graduation. The multiple stands advertising opportunities to study abroad were also

stocked full, with their flyers seen in the grasp of many throughout the school day.
The fair came to a merry end on the 26th of July, where the warmly welcomed
university advocates were seen packing up their stands.
