On July 27, 2024, Kuen Cheng High School’s piano competition finals were held in
the auditorium. After intense competition in the preliminary round, held from June
19 to July 5, 18 intermediate and advanced contestants stood out as the finalists in
this prestigious competition!
At 10:45 a.m. sharp, the emcee announced the start of the competition. The
intermediate group kicked off the event, with each contestant stepping onto the stage
to present their chosen piece. After the nine intermediate contestants completed their
performances, the emcee welcomed the advanced group to the stage.
As the final contestant finished their piece, the judges began deliberating on the
awards. During this time, Ng Jiun from Jr3S1 played the harmonica, and Lim Zhe
Yu from Sr1ComA accompanied on the piano for a delightful performance of "Fly
Me to the Moon." Following this, Kuan Xing Yi, the winner of Kuen Cheng High
School’s solo singing competition, enchanted the audience with a rendition of the
Chinese song "Photo".
Shortly after, the judges concluded their discussions, and it was time to announce the
