25th of August 2023, 3:15p.m. Kuen Cheng High School Debate Club held its annual
farewell ceremony for the graduating seniors. The farewell ceremony started off in the
school’s activity hall, while members from the English fraction of the club moved to another
classroom for the buffet and closing segment later on.
The theme for the event was “Blazing Dazzle”《炽·曜》, an analogy of how the
graduating seniors’ efforts shine like blazing fires and help fuel the club.
Before the farewell party started, the organizing committee faced some minor issues as
they needed time to familiarise themselves with the new environment in the activity hall. The
farewell party started by splitting all the members into groups with two to three graduating
seniors each. All graduating seniors were given balloons to hold on to so as to be recognised
easily.
