The presentation continued with topics related to our education pathways, facts of being
a pharmacist, and the differences between a doctor and the pharmacist before Prof. Gan
conducted a Q&A session where students can answer questions and later receive a gift
from her. This session has raised active responses from the floor. We were glad to see so
many students that are full of curiosity and interest in this topic.
In the second half of the presentation, Prof. Gan had talked about teenagers and sexuality.
She said that it is important to let the students know about the process of sexual maturation
as teenagers nowadays tend to get sexually active at a younger age. There were also some
videos associated with pregnancy to let the students fully understand the formation of
human body and some tips to prevent the Down syndrome. The presentation officially
ended at 9:30 a.m. Through this activity, our students received important and updated
information that is going to help in their further studies plan ahead.
