In conjunction with the Kuen Cheng Science

Week, the Academic Department has rolled out
several Talks and Workshops for Science-stream
students. On Saturday, 22 June 2019 Professor Gan
Siew Hua, currently the Interim Head of School of
Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia, has been
invited to speak on the topic of When a Pharmacist
Encounters Drugs.

Before the event started, our Deputy Principal,
Madam Chong Siew Fah presented a gift to
the honorable guest speaker and expressed our
gratitude to her for being so supportive to the
invitation. Prof. Gan began by introducing the
profession being as a pharmacist; availability of
jobs when after one has completed the study of
pharmacy. After that, she talked about the side
effects of herb-drugs interaction.
