Fishing is a great hobby. Not only it is relaxing but it is also really satisfying. I work
indoors so I love to get some fresh air first thing in the morning or after a hard day at
work. You forget about the hustle and bustle of city life. I commute to work and live near
the coast so I am very lucky. It definitely promotes a healthier lifestyle as I often walk
for ages to find the best spot. Fishing offers you the chance to improve your self-esteem
through respect for the environment, mastering outdoor skills and achieving personal
goals. Fishing is a lifetime skill and activity that can be enjoyed at any age.
You do need patience when fishing as it might take a while to catch something but
it is worth it. Sometimes it comes down to luck but you do learn where the best spots
are with experience. It is also a hobby that you can either enjoy with your friends or by
yourself. It is a really fun way to socialise! My son has entered lots of competitions and I
am really proud of him. I do not understand why people are against such a great hobby.
