To quote a member of the
physics exhibition: “People say
physics will be the least interesting
exhibition, but I disagree... Have you
seen this year’s setup?”

The Physics Exhibition was
held in the Physics Lab and consisted
of intriguing machinery such as a
hydraulic arm which was used as a claw
machine. Experiments on air pressure, From a passerby in the General
electrostatic force, non-Newtonian Science Lab: “I didn’t even know there
fluid, mouse-trap race cars, angular
momentum etc. were in place too. was so much you could do with just maths
and simple science... Especially in gambling
cards.”

The General Science and Mathematics
Exhibition was conducted in the General
Science Lab where committee members gave
explanations and instructed the students on
how to conduct the experiments. For example,
there was the “24 point poker cards” arithmetical
puzzle and explanation on combinatorial
game theory from the mathematics side,
alongside the hot ice experiment and lava lamp
observation from the general science side.
