                   FLOWERS That same evening,
                                                       A gale oh-so malignant,
                                                       Had me myself running,
Then came a voice oh-so flamboyant.

Roses are red, An umbrella dyed blue, Where is a better place to live,
Violets are blue. Hung over my head, A big city or amazing countryside.
I remember how we met, I knew it was you, We can see cars in the city,
What about you? But none in countryside.
                                                       Nothing had to be said.

It was a typical day, A blink later, Where is a better place to live,
Just around my neighborhood, You brought me to the store, A big city or amazing countryside.
A flower shop was in play, There wasn’t any chatter, We could experience fresh air,
Curious it made my mood. But none in big city.
No one else was beyond the door.

I heard you humming, Your tone was so sweet, Where is a better place to live,
Right at the doorstep. Thought I didn’t understand why. A big city or amazing countryside.
Sweeping and swaying, My face was red like a beet, We could have a better
Neatly, the flowers were kept. study environment,
But I knew you were the perfect guy.
                                                                                                                                                               But none in countryside.
“Good morning,” you paused, Before I left,
Smiling with glee. You gave me a flower, Where is a better place to live,
Was it this that caused, I kept it ‘til its death, A big city or amazing countryside.
A pulse rush in me? We could see sheeps everywhere,
It filled my heart with power.
                                                                                                                                                               But none in big city.
Flushed, I bought a rose, As years went by,
You sent me on my way. We talked and we smiled. Where is a better place to live,
You blushed and a feeling arose, I knew our love would never die, A big city or amazing countryside.
‘Love’, I would say. It all depends on how we define the
But then an ambulance was dialed.
                                                                                                                                                                meaning of,
Yet here I am at your grave, A good environment.
                                                       It’s the stores’ closing hour.
I’ll always remember the love that you gave,
