REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

(Junior Middle 1 Intake 2023)

As teaching and learning are at the heart of Kuen Cheng High School, all aspects of a learner
including ethic, intellectual, physical, social and the aesthetic development will always maintain
as principles of our education. These are noble values that bring forward both immediate and
lasting impact on a student. School subjects are conducted in three main languages; a dual-track
education system that requires students to participate in both the Examinations of UEC (Malay-
sian Independent Chinese Secondary School Unified Examination) and the SPM (Sijil Pelajaran
Malaysia). They are subjects required for completion as scheduled on the standard curriculum.

Types of class scheduling would be as follows, for reference of parents:
1) Class Hours (based on 2022 model):
Monday to Friday 7:50 am to 3:00 pm
Saturday 7:50 am to 12:30 pm.
2) For the new Academic Year 2023, adjustment on class schedule will be made when deemed
necessary.

2 Registration
2.1 Date: Open from 1 July 2022 (Friday) to 23 September 2022 (Friday)
2.2 For enquiries on registration, international students must first write in with an email to:
registration@kuencheng.edu.my. An appointment will then be provided for the interview
via Zoom.
2.3 Regular application shall start after the successful interview online and parents can proceed
to click on the Registration: 【Online Registration Form】
2.4 Supporting documents to be uploaded online shall include the following items:
a) Passport duplicate copy of applying student
b) Residence Permit duplicate copy (PERMANENT RESIDENT; RESIDENT PASS;
MM2H; DEPENDENT’S PASS; STUDENT PASS)
c) Passport duplicate copy of both parents
d) Work Permit duplicate copy of both parents
e) Full Report Card of Primary 4, Full Report Card of Primary 5 and Primary 6 First
Semester (if any)
