6 NEW INTAKE

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR JUNIOR MIDDLE ONE
(Intake 2024)

As teaching and learning are at the heart of Kuen Cheng High School, all aspects of a learner in-
cluding ethic, intellectual, physical, social and the aesthetic development will always maintain as
principles of our education. These are noble values that bring forward both immediate and lasting
impact on a student. School subjects are conducted in three main languages; a dual-track education
system that requires students to participate in both the Examinations of UEC (Malaysian Inde-
pendent Chinese Secondary School Unified Examination) and the SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia).
They are subjects required for completion as scheduled on the standard curriculum.
Types of class schedule, as a reference for parents:
Class Hours (based on 2023 model):
Monday to Friday 7.40 am to 3.00 pm
Saturday 7.40 am to 12.30 pm

Admission: Junior Middle One New Students

Start Date for Academic Year: 11 March 2024 (Monday)

2 Registration

2.1 Date: Open from 1 July 2023 (Saturday) to 26 September 2023 (Tuesday).
2.2 Registration will be fully online for Malaysian students:
(1) Click on Application link https://www.kuencheng.com/kchsregistration [Intake
2024 Application System] and complete the Application Form as required.
(2) Supporting documents to be uploaded shall include
a) Birth Certificate
b) Full Report Card of Primary 5
c) Report Card of Primary 6 (if available)
(3) Upon completing the application and uploading of documents:
a) Parents can proceed to make the Application Fee of RM100 through FPX; once the
payment is remitted and transaction successful, the following [Intake 2024 Appli-
cation] documents will be released for use:
(i) print the [Application Fee Receipt] for your filing;
(ii) print the [Placement Test Pass] and student to bring along the Pass as a proof on
the Placement Test Day;
(iii) find out more from the electronic [New Students Manual] and some test papers
for reference and practice.
