5-Uniformed Marching Competition

The 5th of August 2023 marks the end of the 5-Uniformed Societies
Week. Before the event came to a close, it concluded with a marching
performance and competition, a collaborative effort of all the five societies.
Distinguished guests from the Royal Malaysia Police, St. John Ambulance
of Malaysia and the Malaysian Scouts Association were invited to join the
occasion and serve as the judge.
The event started at 8a.m. sharp, with Senior Middle One Science
students participating as the audience. A short explanation regarding the
grading criteria was given. 20 minutes before the event, each club had
already gathered their members to undergo preparations and practices.
The marching competition started with the Air Scout, followed by
the school’s Prefectorial Board, Girl Guides, and the St. John Ambulance
before being wrapped up by the Police Cadets. The event highlighted the
discipline and integrity of the members of each club while showcasing the
determination of each participating group to get 1st place in the event.
The invited judges, individually, they are Mr. Low Soon Kin from
the Malaysian Scouts Association, Mr. Kenneth Charles Fernandez of
the St. John Ambulance of Malaysia and Encik Khairy from the Royal
