The workshop went on with a few questions raised by Ms Pang – “Do you guys use
to-do lists to record your tasks?” It turned out that most of the participants do plan
out their daily lives using to-do lists. She also asked about the media participants

use to jot down their to-do lists. Their responses told us that notebooks, computer
applications and sticky notes were commonly used.

As Ms Pang said, using computer applications for to-do lists can cause distractions
easily. It’s true, because in just a click, we are able to switch to other platforms, our

main focus long forgotten. She also said that sticky notes are convenient but not the
most ideal, as it can be lost easily. Hence, the best way to organise our plans and to-
dos is by using bullet journals, which not only will increase our discipline, but also

help us set clear goals. Ryder Carroll was the one who invented bullet journals, an
Austrian author who prioritised using systematic ways to organise his life.
