6 NEW INTAKE

REGISTRATION GUIDELINES FOR JUNIOR MIDDLE ONE
(Intake 2023)

As teaching and learning are at the heart of Kuen Cheng High School, all aspects of a learner
including ethic, intellectual, physical, social and the aesthetic development will always maintain
as principles of our education. These are noble values that bring forward both immediate and
lasting impact on a student. School subjects are conducted in three main languages; a dual-track
education system that requires students to participate in both the Examinations of UEC (Malay-
sian Independent Chinese Secondary School Unified Examination) and the SPM (Sijil Pelajaran
Malaysia). They are subjects required for completion as scheduled on the standard curriculum.

Types of class scheduling would be as follows, for reference of parents:
1) Class Hours (based on 2022 model):
Monday to Friday 7:50 am to 3:00 pm
Saturday 7:50 am to 12:30 pm
2) For the new Academic Year 2023, adjustment on class schedule will be made when deemed
necessary.

2 Registration

2.1 Date: Open from 1 July 2022 (Friday) to 23 September 2022 (Friday)
2.2 Registration will be fully online for Malaysian students:
(i) Click here for Registration: 【Registration Form】
(ii) Supporting documents to be uploaded shall include:
a) Birth Certificate
b) Full Report Card of Primary 4, Primary 5 and Primary 6 First Semester. (if any)

(iii) Upon completing the registration and uploading of documents:
a) Parents will receive an email on【Fee Payment instructions】. This Fee for
Registration RM 100.00 must be paid through JomPAY on the same day. An
official Receipt and a link for electronic【New Students Manual】will be sent
by email to the respective applicants within five (5) working days.
b) Incomplete documents will be notified by email. And, all required documents
must be presented in three (3) working days. (Incomplete documents submitted
will affect the outcome for final enrolment consideration)

2.3 For foreign nationality - students must first contact the School for an online interview
