4th July 2023, 12:10p.m., the annual Co-curricular Review Meeting was held nearing the end
of all co-curricular activities. Hosted by the Co-curricular Department of Kuen Cheng High School,

the main emcees for the conference were Ms. Hee Siaw Fuey and Ms. Lim Bee Hsiang.

As the club presidents, secretaries and supervising teachers filed into the auditorium, the
emcees started off with general reports on the activities throughout the year. Several important dates

           mentioned were the following:
                   • 25/8/2023 - Last activity day (allowed to apply for extension up to 14/10/2023)
                   • 8/9/2023 - Kuen Cheng Charity Bazaar Preparation & Individual Co-curricular Review
                       Meeting

                   • 30/10/2023 - 2024 Club Proposal Due Date
                   • 30/11/2023 - Club Memorabilia PPT/PDF Due Date
                   • 30/3/2024 - 2024 Committee Namelist

Besides, each club had to start giving marks to members and write recommendations for
Senior Middle Three students’ portfolios. They also explained the procedures for changing clubs
before answering questions from students and teachers.

During the Q&A session, there were many inquiries regarding the procedures for changing
clubs and the most recent Farewell Ceremony plannings. A lot of students and teachers questioned
the department’s choice on timing and budgeting, as each club was only allowed to spend money on
either a parting dinner (RM6 per club member) or farewell gifts (RM30 per graduating member).

Clubs were only given two weeks to prepare for the whole ceremony, including committee selection
           and proposal planning.
