The beginning of the celebration was packed with impressive and amazing
performances including Chinese martial arts by the Wushu Club and a unicycle
performance, earning a great round of applause from the audience. A warm and touching
speech was given by Datuk Chong Tho Chin, Secretary of the Board of Governors of

Kuen Cheng High School, where he emphasized the importance of being grateful for the
school facilities provided to the students these days that were not present during their
time of education.

The School Principal, Dr Chua Lee Lee gave her speech revealing the activities
that will be held next year in conjunction with Kuen Cheng’s 115th Anniversary which
no doubt got everyone hyped up. Last but not least, both emcees Chan Yong Tong and
Ling Zhi Ern wished Kuen Cheng Happy Birthday and Happy Teacher’s Day. Then, all

the teachers went up to the stage to participate in the cake-cutting ceremony for Kuen
Cheng’s 114th Anniversary.
