As the end of August draws near, here marks the final chapter of the yearlong club activities. Kuen Cheng Brush Lettering Club held a farewell party on the 23rd of August 2023 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in classroom B401.
After a warm welcome and introduction from the host, a speech from Wen Xuen, the President, kick-started the farewell party. Aside from expressing her gratitude towards the committee members and teachers for their efforts, she also shared her reflections on leading the club throughout the year.
The farewell party was then followed by speeches from our teachers-advisors and the 12 seniors who are having their final year in Kuen Cheng. Many couldn’t help but smile as they shared their fondest memories in the club, as well as their appreciation and kind wishes to the members whom they will be parting ways soon.

Next came the games session, where all the members sat in a circle and played two meticulously curated games. The highlight of the farewell party, as all parties do, was undoubtedly the food. The combination of pizza and bubble milk tea revitalised everyone’s spirit, chatter and laughter resonated in the room, as the final moment of the farewell party arrived.
