To celebrate Kuen Cheng High School’s 115th anniversary and enrich the school’s history knowledge among teachers and students, the Student Organizing Committee arranged a station game during every recess from September 4th to 9th, 2023.

The game consists of five stations: the first three are presented in the Block A lobby, and the remaining two, including the gift station, are in the new dormitory’s lobby. Players can obtain a points card at any station. Completing station tasks earns players stamps; collecting all five stamps allows them to redeem a limited edition 115th-anniversary bookmark at the gift station. The first 100 players to clear all levels daily could also receive a bonus mystery gift.

The first station is a crossword puzzle, requiring players to fill school-related blanks within 30 seconds. Next is a 3×3 puzzle to reassemble with a photo and identify its school location in one minute. A chop will be given upon mission success.

The third station is a 2-versus-2 answer race. The station master asks school-related questions, and players must toss and catch a ball using the inside of the cup. The first successful catch gives a chance to answer. A correct answer is rewarded with a chop, while a wrong answer will lead to repeating the whole process until the correct answer is given. The fourth station is a blindfolded game. Players must cover their eyes with a provided mask and clip question cards hidden in the sand within one minute. Respective questions will then be asked to be answered by the player. A chop is given for two correct answers.

The final station is “Station Master Says (站长说)”. Players must follow instructions upon hearing the specific word: Station Master says… (站长说…). The station master may try to deceive by not providing the cue. Winning this game requires following eight instructions and ignoring distractions. After completing all five stations, players can redeem their gifts.

The captivating station game concluded with immense joy and pride among the participating students. Besides enriching the school’s history knowledge, these engaging activities also fostered a sense of unity, making it a memorable event for all participants.
