INTI International University & Colleges held a UEC WOW Event for independent Chinese high school students on the 27th of May 2023. The event was themed Unrestricted Future (FUN肆未来), and it was a one-day camp held at INTI International College Subang.
Campers started to arrive at around 8.30 am, and they were asked to change into a shirt provided by INTI Subang and then ushered to an auditorium. An opening ceremony was held, as well as an icebreaker, where campers were required to post a story on Instagram alongside other campers.
Next up, a sharing session with BBK Network’s Lucas and Kahmun was held. BBK Network is a news and media company discussing social issues in Malaysia. Lucas and Kahmun answered questions about higher education and shared their experiences while studying at Universiti Malaya. They encouraged the campers to follow their dreams and not just follow societal norms.

After a delicious bout of lunch, campers were allocated to different locations for different workshops. There are several workshops from different universities and their respective faculties, including SOHOS (School of Hospitality) Faculty of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, ICAD (INTI Centre of Art and Design), CAE (Centre for American Education), University of Hertfordshire School of Business and Communication, and Swinburne University of Technology. Campers learned about finance, baking, ad designing, psychology and more.
After finishing up the workshops, a treasure hunt was carried out. Campers were divided into 10 groups and 10 different stations where campers had to accumulate points in each of the stations. At last, a closing ceremony was held, and the winners of the treasure hunt were announced. Finally, the campers had to say goodbye reluctantly as the event came to an end. INTI’s UEC WOW Event brought an impact on the high school students participating in it, as participants learned a lot during the process.
