In association with the 2023 theme of the school’s “Happy to Gather” (Happy兔Gather) Spring Festival temple fair, the school held a Chinese Dialect Blessing recording activity at Block A Lobby on the 12th and 13th of January 2023.

This event is open to all teachers and students in the school to give a few Chinese New Year blessings such as Gong Xi Fa Cai and Happy Chinese New Year, using dialects they are familiar with. This two-day activity received a great response who were very supportive by bringing their friends along too. Although there were many difficulties and mistakes during the recording process, everyone still had a lot of fun together in the process.

The very dedicated shooting team prepared some photography props for teachers and students to choose from, which made the shooting process much more interesting and fun. Thanks to the shooting team who ensured that the students were comfortable while recording, the shooting was completed in a pleasant atmosphere. Participants gave some feedback praising this event as an interesting event that they had long anticipated for a long time. They can’t wait to see more of these.

The recording video of this dialect blessing will be broadcast live on the school’s official Facebook on New Year’s Eve. Those who are interested, do remember to stay tuned on our school’s Facebook page for the live broadcast on New Year’s Eve together!

Lastly, we hope that all students will face all upcoming obstacles with a positive attitude in this new year. At the same time, it is also encouraged to learn from their mistakes and be a better version of themselves. Wishing a happy new year again to all!
