To express the appreciation to the teachers of Kuen Cheng High School with handmade flowers, the Handicraft Club organised a flower-making workshop on the 20th and 21st of May 2024. The workshop opened for participation to all students at A803.
Before the workshop started, there were student-coordinators making introductions of themselves as instructors for specific groups. Also, two more students were there to assist in supervising the workshop. After they made sure there was sufficient supply of materials, the workshop officially started at 3:15pm. The instructors distributed the materials to all groups.
The instructors could be seen guiding the students of the group they’re in charge of, making sure that every participant manages to keep up with the pace. After finishing the tedious process of creating the flower petals, it was time to assemble the components.
Binding the pieces together with glue and floral tape, a pipe cleaner flower was completed. With the finishing touches of blush powder, the flowers were ready to be packaged. Participants wrote mini cards and placed them along with the flower they made as well.
