The School Principal, Madam Chua Lee Lee conducted the Training of New Teachers 2019 on 27 – 28 December 2018. She made introduction about Kuen Cheng High School and its education philosophy to the group. She has extended a warmest welcome to all new teachers and looked forward to having a long and lasting work relationship with all.
Activities of the Training for the first day included briefing regarding growth and development of Chinese Independent Schools and the Chinese Education, a brief tour to the School and Management, the Principles and Practices of Teaching.
On the second day, new teachers have been guided through the Culture of School, Basic Requirements for Class Management and further shared by experienced teachers. They were also being introduced to the Subject Heads and the Basics for Teaching of Designated Subjects. Later, they were given a briefing from different departments of the Management so that they get to know the function of the school. Before the Training comes to an end, all new teachers are requested to write a letter for a year later to own self. There was also time allocated for drawing
conclusion and filling up feedback form for the Training of two days.
