Teachers are backbone of quality education. It is the core beliefs of the school to prioritize teachers’ professional development within human resource planning and management. Ongoing training activities are provided through collaborative planning and the sharing of good practices within the school and also with many other external educational institutions.
Before the year ends, the school has organized a 14-day study tour to National Changhua University of Education in Taiwan; purpose of it was to further improve and enhance their skills being as administrators of multiple duties and responsibilities so that they become better school leaders. The study group comprises nine administrative heads from the Academic, Discipline and Co-curricular. Jointly, they are Assistant Head Ms Tan Hui Chee, Assistant Head Mr Lim Yu See and Assistant Head Ms Giam Wai Shan from the Academic; Assistant Head Mr Leong Choy Meng, Assistant Head Mr Pang Chung Seong and Assistant Head Ms Ho Hong Ling from the Discipline; Head Ms Chong Lee Ying and Assistant Head Ms Kang Ruey Chyi from the Counseling, together with Mr Lim Siang Sheng, Head of the Co-curricular.
In addition to education lectures and forums, our Administrative Heads get the chance to visiting related institutions while in Taiwan; learning from prestigious high schools in Taichung and exchanging ideas and thoughts with experts in the education field. Lifelong learning is a critical component of growth to all. The school has provided opportunity for personal as well as professional development as it is always necessary to adapt and change with the needs of our
education.
