On September 29th, 2023, it was a remarkable day as the Junior Middle Three students who participated in the Peer Learning Program have finally concluded. The school organized a completion ceremony in the school’s auditorium for all the junior three students, inviting mentor teachers, volunteers, and presenters of the project.

The ceremony began with all the students singing both the national anthem and the school anthem. Following this, the students had a 10-minute meditation session guided by Mr. Tan Yong Chin. After the meditation, the Principal, Madam Chua Lee Lee delivered a speech, an inspiring as well as touching one. She encouraged the students, stating, “Some of you might lack something to reach your target, whether it’s the path, resources, or the heart. However, I trust that after completing this program, you all will find your way to achieve your goals.”

With a heartfelt address from the principal, the mentor teachers of the accomplished junior middle three students offered words of support to their respective students. They also presented specially designed keychains, adorned with motivating words, as gifts on behalf of the school departments.

After this touching moment, the ceremony proceeded with the presentation of commendation certificates to the volunteers and presenters. These certificates served as a token of appreciation for their wholehearted efforts in assisting students who faced challenges in maintaining their learning progress.

Following the certificate presentations, all the students wrote a brief yet heartfelt message to the participating Junior Middle Three students. Once completed, they gave these message notes to the junior three students, offering them their greatest support and encouragement. As the students exchanged messages, the whole ceremony came to an end.
