It appeared to be an ordinary day, yet it unfolded pretty differently. On the 22nd of August 2023, the Japanese Language Society organised a heartfelt farewell gathering to bid adieu to the graduating Sr3 students and the Sr2 students that opted for early leaving.
The party commenced with Madam Loh Hoi Yuen, the Teacher-advisor of the Japanese Language Society, delivering a sincere speech to the departing students. Following that, the Japanese teachers from each level class, Izumi sensei, Olivia sensei, Tamagi sensei and Chikako sensei separately extended their well-wishes to the departing seniors and other students for their journey ahead.

The party proceeded with Angelina Bernadette Wong Xinyi, a representative for Senior Middle Three students, delivering a moving speech. Her words resonated deeply with many, as she expressed her contentment at being a part of the club and her reluctance to bid it farewell. Subsequently, it was time for our graduating and leaving students to take the stage. Each student received a canvas bag adorned with distinct images as parting gifts.

With the emotional moments concluded the mood shifted to a more cheerful one. The members of the Japanese Language Society were treated to a delightful meal, each receiving a box of chicken chop rice and a refreshing Honey Bee drink. The students enjoyed their meals for a leisurely 30 minutes, engaging in joyful conversations with their friends.
Members savouring their peaceful time
Following the satisfying meal, the members gathered for a series of group photos for each class. As the final group photo for each class in 2023 was taken, this memorable gathering drew close, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
