During the weekly Saturday Independent Learning Day on 24th July 2023, students were trained for their upcoming Breakfast-Selling Activity through an interdisciplinary event. The participants mainly include students from the Arts and Commerce stream, specifically the Sr1ComA, Sr1ComB, Sr1ComC, and Sr1ComD.

The students remained in their respective classes to learn the songs “Lai Wo Jia Chi Fan (来我家吃饭)” by Ah Niu and “Zao An Chen Zhi Mei (早安,晨之美)” by Crowd Lu, along with accompanying dance moves. Lyrics were distributed to all students, while music teachers were assigned to different classes to guide and teach the students. Following the instruction sessions, all students gathered on the ninth floor of Block C for a rehearsal.

Teacher Wong Sheau Hui provided some explanations to ensure students understood the rehearsal venue. The designated positions were as follows: Sr1ComA positioned at the front left-hand side, with Sr1ComC behind them; Sr1ComD stood on the right-hand side with Sr1ComB behind them. Once all the students settled down, the rehearsal commenced.

Each class recited different slogans for the phrases “Good morning” and “I Love XXX” (referring to a specific food item) as an interactive element. This variation added an engaging touch to the performance. It’s worth noting some students will be reciting the slogans and asking the audience questions during the actual event.

Overall, the rehearsal progressed smoothly without any obstacles or issues, ensuring students were well-prepared for the upcoming Breakfast-Selling Activity.
