Bulan Bahasa Opening Ceremony

On the 11th of May 2023, Kuen Cheng High School started off Bahasa Melayu Month (Bulan Bahasa) with a simple but cheerful Opening Ceremony. It was held at the school courtyard in the morning before class started. Students from Jr3Z and Jr3S classes filed around the courtyard while everyone else watched from the sidelines.

Opening Speech by Principal Madam Chua Lee Lee

During the ceremony, the school Principal, Dr Chua Lee Lee, gave a quick opening speech before passing the stage to the students of Sr2ComA. They performed a storyline-based musical performance together, featuring their Bahasa Melayu teacher, Ms Mazlina Binti A Ghani at the start.

The opening ceremony then ended with a big group photo after a quick thank you by the teachers-in-charge, marking the start to a wondrous week of activities ahead, including activities like congkak, word search competitions, speech competitions and much more to come!
