A forum regarding art and its many forms was held on 25 March 2023 for Senior Middle One students in conjunction with the series of events for Kuen Cheng 115th Anniversary. Five honorable guests were invited to share their views and experiences. They were all deeply invested in artistic subjects. Among them was none other than our beloved Mr Yap Hong Ngee, a famous artist who has also been our Art Teacher for up to 30 years.
The forum had a variety of discussions and activities. Our guest speakers shared the importance of implementing a form of art into our lives and how we can understand ourselves better through personal experience. Furthermore, they provided insight into different forms of art, for example, comic books which were widely frowned upon by parents.

Afterwards, there was a singing performance by Miss Chew Paul Wah and a live drawing demonstration by Mr Yap Hong Ngee. The performance and demonstration were held simultaneously and students were in awe of the talent presented in front of them. The artwork completed by Mr Yap Hong Ngee was donated to the school as a gift in celebration of the 115th Anniversary.
Lastly, a Q&A session was held. They prepared 10 gifts and distributed them to the participating students. Many students engaged in active participation during the Q&A session. To end it off, a group photo was taken.
