It was the first concert the club has had since the pandemic began, and the first concert for many of its club members.
The concert began with them playing of March “Blue Sky” by Thoko Takagi, followed by “As a River Flows”, “Bugler’s Holiday”, “Antagatadokosa”, “Bridge to the Green High Mountain” and “The Dance of the Yao People”, before the intermission started.

Then came the vocal highlights of the night, with Ms Lu Wen Jing 陆玟静 singing along to a famous Cantonese classic, “Shanghai Bund 上海滩”. Mr Wei Guo Qing 魏国庆 then sang his take of yet another popular Cantonese song, “Under a Vast Sky 海阔天空”. Both talented Malaysian artists were accompanied by Kuen Cheng’s Wind Orchestra as they sang.
