On the 11th of October, Kuen Cheng High School Academic Department held a closing ceremony in the auditorium for the Peer Learning Program, a second batch that comprised students from Junior Middle One & Two, and Senior Middle One.

This group of students had been attending this program since the 18th of July. Now they were already familiar with the process of the morning routine led by Madam Tan Huei Chee, Assistant Admin Head of the Academic Department, which includes the flag raising ceremony, the morning exercises and the mindfulness practice.

After the usual schedule, the Principal, Dr Chua Lee Lee went on stage to deliver a speech. To start off, she said that she was quite nervous, as the program went on already for three months, every teacher and all volunteers did their best to help the students. Now, it’s time for the students to face their problems on their own. They really have to put in effort to build good habits and concentrate on their studies to face the year end examination. She also thanked the Vice Principal, Madam Koo Lai Ping, the Academic Department, Teachers-in-charge, the Administrative, and the volunteers for their kindness and support provided to the students.

Next, the Teachers-in-charge and students were invited onto the stage to offer their blessings and wishes of good luck to their respective students for their upcoming exams. After that, the volunteers were presented with a Certificate of Appreciation for their generous assistance.
