Recently, Kuen Cheng High School’s Co-curricular Activities all came to an end. To see off school leavers and graduates this year, the Guitar Club of Kuen Cheng High School held a farewell party on the 24th of September.
The Guitar Club’s GRAMMY-themed farewell party began with a game of song-guessing. In 6 breakout rooms, club members guessed songs from Guitar Club’s previous concerts and performances, such as songs and pieces like Country Road, Tango en Skaï, and Paradise Has No Border.
Next up, the club members played a game of “passing the lyrics”, where the club members sang songs with lyrics related to the words displayed on the screen. Those who weren’t able to come up with a song received a challenge, including rapping, tongue twister, and dancing along to the song “chicken dance”.
After the games, came the “Award Ceremony”, where the seniors who are leaving school were given awards like “Best Conductor”, “Best Skill”, and “Most Humourous”. Afterwards, the seniors gave their testimonials and thanked the club teachers for always providing them with their support. The teachers also gave sincere advice to the seniors.
At last, a group photo was taken right after a photo of the seniors was taken, and the club members all left the meeting room, reluctant to part but happy.
