Kuen Cheng High School Prefectorial Board
On the 3rd of August 2022, Kuen Cheng High School Prefectorial Board organized a trainee prefect tie-wearing ceremony for the recently accepted trainee prefects. The ceremony was held from 7.20 a.m. to 8.10 a.m.
At 7.20 a.m. sharp, the trainees and prefects gathered up in the main lobby of Block A. The trainees were requested to line up in an orderly manner. The ceremony began once everyone had successfully joined.
The ceremony started off with some prefects giving out speeches and important rules you must keep as a trainee. The main highlight of the speech was to keep your necktie neatly tucked at all times.
As soon as the speech ended, the prefects gave out neckties to the trainees. Each senior prefect was appointed to teach their respective trainees how to tie their neckties.
Besides that, the trainees were also given cards with a length marked on them. The card was proposed to measure a student’s hair accurately. This way, the trainees could have an easier time spotting when a student’s hair goes against the School rules.
With that, the ceremony came to an end. All of the trainees have learned how to wear their ties and left quickly to attend their classes.
