On the 5th of April 2023, Kuen Cheng Psychology Club hosted a welcoming party to connect with all new members. The event started with a dance performance by one of the members, Vanessa Lee who showcased her talent in dancing. The dance performance added an extra level of entertainment to the welcoming party.
Moving on, the members played a game called “ 收到请回答 ” where two paper rolls were given to two members randomly and the paper rolls were passed along until the music stops. The person holding the paper roll had to introduce themselves in front of the group. The game was entertaining and exciting at the same time.
After the interactive game, the members were seated in circles with their own group. They were given a piece of A3 size paper and tasked to draw their group flags, as well as coming up with a group name and slogan. The members were reserved at first, but slowly started to open up and brainstorming ideas together. After some time, the members presented the names they came up with to the whole club. The members came up with all sorts of creative and unique names. We were happy to see the members enjoying themselves in the activity, letting their creativity flow.
The committee report followed on after the presentation, letting the members know about important details. A group photo was taken afterwards to record the event. As the party drew to a close, pizza and soft drinks were served, delighting the members. With that, the event came to an end. Wishing all members a fruitful and happy year in Psychology Club!
