2023Junior Middle One Placement Test Update

1. Date of Placement Test：01/10/2022 (Saturday)

2. Time：8am – 12pm

3. Subjects and Schedule：



Exam Hall/Classroom Allocated (Appendix 1 & 2): Students must check their respective allocated Exam Hall first. Upon arrival at Kuen Cheng High School, go straight and be seated in the allocated Classroom.

Reminders:

a) Bring along your Receipt for Registration. All students taking the Placement Test must wear the usual school uniform of his/her Primary School. Kuen Cheng High School will not accept walk-in registration for the Test. Absentee will be treated as voluntary refusal.
b) Snack (Milo + bread) will be provided to students during the interval at 9:45 am.
c) Placement Test stationery kits allowed: 2B pencil, eraser and a ruler.
d) Mobile phones: For students’ convenience to contact their parents after the Test, mobile phone will be allowed to be kept in the school bag and placed under the chair with its power off.

Prevention of COVID-19:

a) Students and parents must wear a face mask at all times upon arrival at Kuen Cheng High School. All are reminded to observe the Prevention of COVID-19 in a crowd.
b) Students are encouraged to perform a Self-test for COVID-19 before the day of the Placement Test.

Traffic and Parking:

I.When entering into Kuen Cheng High School
a) All students are encouraged to arrive at Kuen Cheng High School before 7:30 am on the Placement Test. Traffic of the day itself will be heavy, please be on time.
b) To avoid heavy traffic in front of Kuen Cheng High School, ONLY students will be allowed to enter into the school premise. Parents will do the drop off.
c) To make sure the Placement Test go on as scheduled, teachers and staff of Kuen Cheng High School will be receiving students at designated points for the pickup (refer to Appendix 3 & 4: Traffic Flow Map). As and when parents notice the presence of our staff on duty, allow your child to leave the car and drive away immediately in order to keep a smooth traffic flow.
d) Our staff on duty will take good care of all students and guide them to the right Exam Hall/Classroom.
e) Parents can consider taking the Monorail to arrive at Tun Sambanthan Station. Or, park the cars along the Monorail Station. Then, move on to Kuen Cheng School by using the overhead bridge.

II.Departure
a) Basement Car Park of Kuen Cheng High School will only be opened at 11 am. Parking lots are limited, first-come-first-served.
b) Park the car over at Brickfields area (Appendix 5) when the School Car Park is full. Use the overhead bridge to enter into Kuen Cheng High School.
c) Parents can wait for students at the School Canteen. No visits to students at the Exam Hall/Classroom will be allowed.
d) Parents are reminded to do the arrangement for pickup of students when after the Placement Test is over.
