Kuen Cheng High School is getting close to having a student population of 5,000 from the beginning of this academic year 2019. Quality of the academic performance and our work efficiency in the day-to-day operation has become major task to be accomplished by the school management. We conduct regular inspections and update on a good system in order to serve the school better. In view of the increased emphasis on the development, a group of Administrative Heads from the school made a study tour on Tuesday, 19 March 2019 to the Division of Examinations, Awards and Scholarships (DEAS) of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) at its Sungai Long Campus, Selangor. The Admin group led by Vice Principal, Ms Koo Lai Ping comprises Ms Evelyn Chuah Ang Leng, the HR & Finance Head, Ms Leong Wai Yee, the Head of Academic, Ms Tan Huei Chee, the Assistant Head of Academic, Ms Liau Sook Yen and Ms Woo Ker Sinn, both the Academic Assistants, Mr Kenny Wong Kang Ming, the Project Coordinator and Ms Cynthia Chee Yuek Eng, the Secretary cum PR Executive.
UTAR Director of DEAS, Puan Nik Zaitun binti Nik Salleh, Deputy Director, Ms Shirley Lau and the Assistant Manager, Mr Vui Jinn Yeong extended a warm welcome to our Admin group. They gave practical, straight to the point and much thought out advice on Examination Center and its management; the security measure for handling the examination documents and its control, in-house printing of school materials including the examination sheets, papers as well as pros and cons of utilizing internet tools during the preparation of examination question papers.
It was indeed a fruitful and joyous day for the Admin group members. The generosity, support UTAR DEAS offered to Kuen Cheng High School would greatly help in the efficiency of the examination management and our aim to achieving a standard of excellence.
